Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has described the incidents that occurred on the 30th of October 2024 when the police fired shots at him and when lawmakers of the state house of assembly loyal to his immediate predecessor moved to impeach him as a plot to assassinate the people and forcefully truncate democracy in the state.
A year after, the governor says the worst is over and nothing is happening now that is not surmountable.
Speaking a thanksgiving to show appreciation to God for his grace and mercies, Governor Fubara who promised to defend the interest of Rivers State say his administration will leave legacies future generations will remember him for.
