Eight players have arrived at the Super Eagles camp in Abidjan ahead of the team’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
The players are Moses Simon, Samuel Chukwueze, Frank Onyeka and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.
Also in camp are Amas Obasogie, Gabriel Osho, Raphael Onyedika and Bruno Onyemaechi.
The remaining invited players are expected to hit camp on Tuesday.
The Super Eagles are expected to hold their first training session ahead of the clash with the Cheetahs of Benin Republic on Tuesday.
The three-time African champions will face Gernot Rohr’s men at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan on Thursday.
A draw will be enough for them to book a place at the AFCON 2025 finals which will be hosted by Morocco.
That will also make their last qualifying tie against Rwanda a mere formality.
