“I humbly plead that you permit me to make use of my ideal venue, Okpara Square, for my event. As a true son of Nkanu land, I have dedicated my craft to promoting our culture and enriching the heritage of this state,” Kolaboy wrote.
He praised the efforts of Governor Mbah’s administration, acknowledging its strides in creating a progressive and secure environment. He further highlighted the importance of his concert in inspiring the youth and spotlighting the state’s rich cultural heritage to both local and international audiences.
“My concert is another gesture to promote our cultural heritage and to reassure our people, both at home and in the diaspora, of how safe, conducive, and accommodating our dear state is for investments,” he stated.
Kolaboy revealed that significant investments had already been made in preparation for the event, noting the support from sponsors who have contributed heavily to its success. He described the initiative as a labor of love, both financially and mentally, with the vision of uplifting Enugu’s cultural identity.
The rapper concluded his plea by expressing confidence in Governor Mbah’s integrity and leadership, appealing to him as a “father figure” to grant the approval, which would serve as a beacon of inspiration to many young people.
