Veteran Nollywood actress Stella Damasus and her children commemorated the 20th anniversary of the passing of her late husband, Jaiye Aboderin, with a solemn visit to his gravesite.
In an emotional statement shared with her fans and followers, Stella reflected on the two decades since Jaiye’s untimely death, expressing gratitude to God for the strength to honor his memory. She wrote:
“Exactly 20 years ago today, my husband JAIYE ABODERIN passed away. Twenty years later, with his children grown enough to honor his legacy in the same place, we went back there. It was not easy to get through this, but I am grateful to God for strength.”
Accompanied by family members and close friends, the visit was marked by prayers and tributes, celebrating the life and legacy of the late Jaiye Aboderin. Stella extended her appreciation to those who offered their support, whether in person or through calls and prayers.
She concluded with a heartfelt message:
“Jaiye is forever in our hearts. May his soul continue to rest in peace.”
