The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested Blessing Okoi, an alleged interstate child trafficker. Okoi is accused of abducting two children from a school in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and transporting them to the FCT. One of the victims, Hope Evans, was found in her custody with a changed name, David Evans, reportedly in preparation for adoption by a new parent.
The FCT Commissioner of Police has urged parents and guardians to remain vigilant as investigations continue into the suspect’s activities.
