Brazilian starlet Willian Estêvão has expressed his excitement and determination after choosing to join Chelsea, describing it as the “best club possible” for his career. Speaking to ESPN, the highly-rated youngster shared his confidence in the decision he made alongside his family and team.

“I’m very happy with my decision of going to Chelsea,” he said. “With the plans the club had for me, I have no doubts it was the right choice.”

Addressing Chelsea’s highly competitive squad and their active transfer strategy, Estêvão said he is unfazed and ready to fight for his place. “Chelsea signing many players? No problem. I will work hard for my place. Healthy competition is part of football, and I’m prepared for it.”

The young talent also revealed his admiration for teammate Cole Palmer’s signature “cold celebration,” adding a personal connection to his new teammates. “I’ve been using the cold celebration since I signed for Chelsea,” Estêvão said. “I even exchanged messages with Cole on Instagram about it—he’s really kind.”

Reece James and Thiago Silva have also played a role in welcoming Estêvão. “Reece told me to let him know if I need anything, and Thiago Silva told me after the last game that Chelsea is top. Hearing that made me really happy.”
