Anambra Police Prevent Looting After Fire Incident at Ogbosisi Market

A fire outbreak occurred at Ogbosisi Market on the evening of December 18, 2024, at approximately 8:45 pm. The swift response of the Police and Fire Service operatives successfully brought the situation under control, ensuring no loss of life.

According to a statement by SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Anambra State Police Command, the affected area has been cordoned off to prevent hoodlums from looting goods and properties.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and authorities are yet to ascertain the worth of goods destroyed in the incident.
