Former Governor of Anambra State and Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has visited the retired Archbishop of the Nnewi Diocese, Most Rev. Godwin Okpala, just days after his release from the hands of kidnappers.
The visit, which took place at the Archbishop’s residence, was to express solidarity and thank God for his safe return. Obi commended the clergyman’s resilience and prayed for continued divine protection for him and his family.
Most Rev. Okpala, who was abducted by unknown gunmen, regained his freedom after spending days in captivity.
