The Enugu SME Center has successfully concluded the Enugu SME Skill-Acquisition One-Day Masterclass (ESAM), a groundbreaking event aimed at empowering Enugu’s creative talents in the animation industry.
Themed “Unlocking the Secrets of Animation,” the masterclass featured industry experts who shared valuable insights on animation as a key driver of Africa’s digital and creative economy.
A major highlight was the session with Mr. Ferdinand Adimefe, CEO of Magic Carpet Studios, who emphasized:
“Africa has great stories but lacks the capacity to tell them. Animation can help fill that gap.”
This initiative aligns with Governor Peter Mbah’s vision to position Enugu as a hub for innovation and digital creativity. Under his leadership, the state is actively empowering creatives, fostering digital skills development, and strengthening Enugu’s presence in the global creative economy.
