In a significant move to enhance infrastructural development in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area (LGA), the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has reaffirmed his decision on the construction of the long-awaited Nkpologu – Uvuru – Ukpata – Adaba – Umulokpa road.
This landmark decision follows a high-level presentation by the Executive Chairman of Uzo-Uwani LGA, Hon. Barr. Chijioke Joseph Ezugwu, at the State Economic Commission meeting held yesterday. Ezugwu passionately outlined the infrastructural challenges facing the people of Uzo-Uwani, particularly the deplorable state of the major road leading to the local government headquarters. In a swift and decisive response, Governor Mbah assured that he will work on the road, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to equitable development across Enugu State.
The road project, which has been a long-standing demand of the Uzo-Uwani people, will not only be constructed but also asphalted with state-of-the-art road facilities. This includes the highly anticipated Onugbogbo-Umulokpa road, which will transform accessibility and economic activity in the region.
Governor Mbah’s unwavering dedication to infrastructural advancement continues to set new standards in governance. His administration’s proactive approach to addressing development concerns, particularly in rural areas, reinforces his campaign promise that “Tomorrow is Here.”
The people of Uzo-Uwani will again in no distant time witness the tangible impact of Governor Mbah’s visionary leadership.
His heroic strides in fostering inclusive growth and infrastructure renewal across Enugu State serve as a testament to his administration’s resolve to deliver lasting progress.
As construction will begin in earnest, Uzo-Uwani residents celebrate a governor who listens, acts, and delivers. Indeed, under Governor Peter Mbah, tomorrow is here.
