In a recent interview, Jamaican dancehall artist Vybz Kartel opened up about forgiving his wife after learning she had been unfaithful while he was serving a 13-year prison sentence.
Despite the revelation, he expressed his continued respect for her and understanding of the emotional challenges she faced in his absence.
“She held it for years then she couldn’t hold it anymore. But I still respect her because I understand human beings. I am sure she loves me because she is holding me. Even when she was slacking, I could still jump on my phone and say, ‘Surety, go to the bank. Make sure the lawyer gets this. Pay this bill.’ She was there right through. Come on, I’m in prison for 13 years—what do you expect her to do?” Kartel said.
He emphasized that his commitment to their relationship remains strong, highlighting the importance of forgiveness and resilience in overcoming challenges
