As former kaduna state Governor and Fct Minister, Mallam Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai has officially joined the Social Democratic Party, SDP
The National Youth Leader of social democratic party SDP, Dr. Uchechukwwu Ogbonba, FCIHRM heartily welcome his excellency Mallam Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai into the fold of social democratic party and family.
This move, seen as a strategic realignment ahead of the 2027 elections, was warmly celebrated and welcomed by Chukwuma Ogbonna, the party’s National Youth Leader, who described it as a moment of hope for Nigeria Youths and the Nigeria populace.
In a press statement signed by himself in Abuja and made available to the journalists, Dr. Uchechukwwu Ogbonba, FCIHRM in a welcome message, declaring El-Rufai’s entry as a vital addition to the SDP’s mission to rescue Nigeria from years of poor governance and underdevelopment.
“On behalf of the teeming members of the SDP youths and patriotic democrats who believe in Nigeria and her promise of inevitable greatness, I heartily welcome his excellency, Mallam El-Rufai to our great party.
“With the hardworking and sagacious Mallam joining our ranks, an avid worker for the people has been enlisted in our forces against poverty and insecurity,” Ogbonna said.
El-Rufai brings a wealth of experience from his tenure as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and Governor of Kaduna State and as a national unifier, SDP is part to beat in 2027 general election.
He called on all Nigeria Youth, genuine democrats and nationalists to join the party’s mission to restore hope, good governance and instill national development.
Social Democratic Party SDP, known for its progressive ideals and focus on ethical governance, now has a heavyweight in its arsenal to challenge the status quo in Nigeria’s political sphere, Ogbonna stated.
