ALERT: Nigerian Army to Conduct Live-Fire Exercise in Abak, Akwa Ibom

The 2 Brigade of the Nigerian Army will be conducting a live-fire range classification exercise from Wednesday, March 19 to Friday, March 28, 2025, at the 6 Battalion Range Area in Abak Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State.

Residents are strongly advised to:

Stay away from the designated range area

Not panic at the sound of gunshots

Observe all safety warnings and signage

According to Lieutenant Adebowale Adejimi, Acting Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, adequate safety and security measures have been put in place for the duration of the exercise.

This training is routine and part of efforts to maintain combat readiness. Please help spread the word to keep everyone informed and safe.
