The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, expressed his approval of the judgement from the Appeal Court Abuja that confirmed Governor Abdullahi Sule as the rightfully elected Governor of Nasarawa State.
Despite the appeal judgement declaring Governor Sule as the winner of the March 18, 2023 governorship election, the state has remained peaceful without any celebrations or jubilation.
Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi congratulated Governor Sule and the All Progressive Congress (APC) for their success at the Court of Appeal.
He also extended his congratulations to the people of the state, emphasizing that Governor Sule’s victory is a triumph for peace, unity, sustainable development, economic prosperity, and urged everyone to put their differences aside and work together with the Governor to build Nasarawa State for the benefit of all.

“The Appeal Court victory is an affirmation of the people’s mandates freely given to His Excellency, Gov Abdullahi Sule during the March Governorship election. I also want to congratulate the APC family for Gov. Sule’s sound victory at the Court of Appeal,” he said
