Following the death of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, has been sworn in as the new Executive Governor.
The oath of office was administered by the State Chief Judge, Justice Olusegun Odosola, at the Cocoa Conference Hall in Akure, the capital of Ondo State.
The ceremony was attended by top judges, government officials, and politicians.
Aiyedatiwa had previously been given power by the late Governor on December 12, as Akeredolu was going on medical leave.
