Ghanaian Rapper, Black Sherif Wants To Take A Break Away From Music

Ghanaian singer and rapper, Mohammed Ismail Sherif aka Black Sherif, has revealed that he’s planning to take a break from music.

According to the 21-year-old, he is planning to further his education after releasing his sophomore album.

Black Sherif said he wants to go back to school to learn clothesmaking. The ‘Kwaku the Traveller’ crooner wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, “[I] Need to get this album out and go back to school to learn how to make clothes.”

Black Sherif gained popularity in 2021 with his song ‘First Sermon,’ which he released that May.

The song’s sequel, ‘Second Sermon,’ was released in July and received a remix with Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy.
