“K1, as he is popularly known, believes that the only way he could add to the success of President Bola Tinubu’s administration is to contribute his own quota by bringing succour and relief to the people. Though he said he has so many ways of contributing positively to better the lot of his people, he hopes to start by making guinea fowl become a staple food in the country.
“His target is believed to be before the end of this administration which he has been working hard towards achieving the feat,” the statement reads in part.
Rasheed also said the Mayegun of Yorubaland is determined to crash the market price to an affordable one.
“No matter what the price of the bird is, K1 is determined to crash it to the minimal level that will be affordable to all. This is a promise from me to you,” he stated.
Already, the demand for guinea fowl meat has increased because it is considered a high-quality protein. The bird is highly valued for its meat and egg and K1 believes it is what he is determined to do and he must do it.
