Oscar Bobb scored his first Premier League goal to snatch Manchester City victory over Newcastle United in a thrilling game at St James’ Park.

Bernardo Silva gave the champions the lead with a brilliant backheeled finish but Newcastle stunned City with two goals in 1

39 seconds. Alexander Isak restored parity with a lovely curling effort before Anthony Gordon sent St James’ Park into raptures with an equally impressive finish cutting in from the left.

City piled on the pressure after the break and were rewarded when Kevin De Bruyne, back after five months out with a hamstring injury, strode forward to equalise after 74 minutes.

De Bruyne then turned provider for Bobb to score another fine goal in the first minute of stoppage time.
