The four remaining siblings of the late Nabeeha Al-Kadriyah have been freed after being kidnapped.
It was previously reported that the sisters were taken along with their father in Bwari Area Council on January 2nd.
While their father was released, Nabeeha was tragically killed when the family failed to meet the kidnappers’ ransom demands.
After her death, the kidnappers increased the ransom amount and threatened to harm the other sisters.
Concerned Nigerians offered support to prevent further harm.
The Federal Capital Territory Police confirmed the sisters’ release, although it is suspected that the ransom was paid beforehand.
The FCT Anti-Kidnapping unit played a role in their rescue.
She said the victims were rescued around Kajuru forest in Kaduna State, Saturday night.
“The operatives successfully rescued the victims around Kajuru forest in Kaduna state at about 11:30 pm on Saturday”, she said.
