A resident, Omera Ugbede Opaluwa, who posted the video on Friday, April 4, 2025, said the child was found by one of the leaders of the community after he heard her crying at the riverside.
The community leader said some baby clothes, a wrapper and other items were also found at the scene.
He added that the community will notify the local government authorities and take care of the baby until they can identify the mother.
