Anambra South Senate Bye-Election: Ndi Anambra South, Let Zukky Go For Us

Azuka Okwuosa

Senate is the apex law making body in Nigeria. Being that Nigeria operates a bicameral legislature, the Senate, otherwise called the Red Chambers, is the senior partner to the House of Representatives, otherwise called the Green Chambers in the nation’s bicameralism, the National Assembly.

All over the world people elected into the Senate are people who have reached the zenith of their career or public life. They are accomplished and well respected members of the society that have fervour for public spiritedness and humanitarian service. They are men of honour, knowledge and experience, who can distill a labyrinth of socioeconomic, political and complex issues and frame a distinct pathway to achieving public policy that will help address societal challenges.

Legislative business entails not only lawmaking but also over-sighting of the executive and also advocating or speaking for one’s constituents in terms of their getting their fair share of government appurtenances like social amenities, as well as employment and appointment opportunities.

Hon Sir Azuka Okwuosa has paid his dues in public service as well as private entrepreneurship.

He comes from a family with abiding tradition of philanthropy and humanity, a trait that has become ingrained in him.

Zukky, as he is fondly called has built extensive and expansive political and business contacts and partnerships that he can leverage on to attract social amenities, jobs, appointments and human capital development opportunities to not only his constituents but Ndigbo in general, should he be elected into the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The Anambra South Senatorial District bye-election is therefore a veritable opportunity to fill the missing gap for the people of Anambra South.

This is a golden opportunity! Let’s grab it. Let’s support him.

Ka Zukky jee!!!
