The Waziri Adamawa and former Vice President of Nigeria, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, marked this year’s Sallah celebrations in Adamawa State, where he represented the Lamido Fombina in a series of traditional and religious activities that highlighted the festive period.
In a post-Sallah gesture of goodwill and national unity, Atiku also paid a courtesy visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari at his residence. Buhari, who served as Nigeria’s President from 2015 to 2023, welcomed Atiku warmly, and both statesmen spent quality time reflecting on national matters and the significance of unity across Nigeria’s diverse regions.
“It was a wonderful time spent with him,” Atiku said after the visit.
