Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has predicted that advancements in artificial intelligence over the next decade could significantly reduce the need for human involvement in many tasks.

Speaking in a recent interview with comedian Jimmy Fallon on NBC’s The Tonight Show in February, the billionaire philanthropist discussed how AI is rapidly evolving and could soon take over various aspects of life and work.

Gates acknowledged that while AI is progressing, human expertise remains essential in certain fields. He emphasized the continued reliance on highly skilled professionals such as doctors and teachers, stating that “a great doctor” or “a great teacher” still plays an irreplaceable role that AI cannot easily replicate.

Despite these exceptions, the tech visionary suggested that as AI systems improve, many traditional job roles and functions could become obsolete, reshaping industries and the global workforce.
