Umuoji- Booth 2 Booth with Bola Tinubu, a support group under the umbrella of the ruling APC has distributed Rice Palliatives and cash token to Indigent citizens and Executive Members of All Progressives Congress across 12 Political wards in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State as well as Twenty-seven (27) Man Executives for the Local Government.
The group Coordinator in Anambra State, Comrade Paschal Candle stated this during its distribution of palliatives to APC members in Umuoji in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State.
The support Group has commenced the distribution of palliatives in the 774 Local Government Areas in Nigeria since 2023.
According to the group State Coordinator, Comrade Paschal Candle, as part of our efforts in supporting the President Bola Tinubu, we decided to distribute this palliatives to Nigerians in cushioning the effects of economic challenge they are facing. We believe President Tinubu has what it takes to fix the country.
The group also said that it is committed to distribute palliatives to Nigerians and APC members in the 774 Local Governments in Nigeria as its own contribution to Energize the President’s base and support the Party at the grassroots in all the 774 Local Government Ares of the country.
“What we are doing today is not a Federal Government palliative nor that of the APC as a party. But a private initiative of the Booth 2 Booth with Bola Tinubu. We have visited many Local Governments across Nigeria and today, it is the turn of Idemili North Local Government Area.
“We embarked on this programme as a way of Helping Mr President in reaching out to Nigerians in various communities to showcase compassion towards members of society through upliftment programmes.
On the Recent visit of the Group to the APC National Chairman and Members of National Working Committee in Abuja, The State Coordinator, Comrade Paschal Candle commended the National Chairman for Assuring Booth 2 Booth With Bola Tinubu a free, fair and Credible Primary election for APC Governorship Primary in the State, which He rechoed during his Visit to The State.
According to the State Coordinator, with this Assurance from the National Chairman, the Group has two Main Objectives now. First, to move around the 21 Local Government of the State to Mobilise APC Members in preparation for the Party Primary. The second part, to equally move round the 21 Local Government Area to mobilise support and campaign for whoever that emerges as APC Candidate after the Primary.
The Local Government Coordinator for Idemili North , Engr Ositadimma Okafor thanked APC Members for their steadfastness and believe in the Party. He encouraged to keep the faith that in due time, their efforts will be rewarded.
The Local Government Chairman of APC in Idemili North, Chief Charles Obadike commended Booth 2 Booth With Bola Tinubu for the Palliatives given to Party Members. He pledged his Loyalty to the Party and Mr President.
The Highlights of the event is the presentation of 10kg Bag of Rice to each APC Executive and some Indigent citizens and cash gifts.
The Secretary of the Party in the Local Government praised the Booth to Booth With Bola Tinubu for their kind gesture. He urged Nigerians to give Mr President all the necessary support. He believed that Mr President will deliver on his promises to Nigerians.
Many of the Party faithfuls thanked the group for this wonderful initiative and prayed to God to continue to guide and protect the President.
