Let’s be honest. Some people you call “leaders” are really just enthusiastic followers with better shoes and louder voices.
Picture this. You’re passionately following a leader, only to realise your so-called leader is also following someone else… who’s also following someone else… and somewhere in that chain is a confused goat leading everyone in circles.
Seriously, what are we doing?
Some people are born leaders but behave like they need GPS directions to their own destiny. Meanwhile, the born followers, those ones with no clue but plenty of confidence, see the confusion and grab the mic: “Ladies and gentlemen, this way please!” And just like that, they become kings over lions who forgot how to roar.
See, leadership is not about who shouts the loudest or carries the biggest file. It is about vision, integrity and knowing the way, even if it means walking alone at first. Don’t just follow someone because they wear a suit and speak posh grammar. Follow someone with substance, not just style.
Remember, who you follow can determine where you end up. They can MAKE you… or MAR you. Choose someone who inspires growth, not just crowds. Someone who leads with wisdom, not WiFi quotes and recycled slogans.
So before you say “Yes, sir!” or repost their motivational video, ask yourself:
Is this person really leading… or are they just walking quickly?
Think about it.
And remember. Even sheep know not to follow another sheep into a wolf’s den.
