Dangote Industries Limited (Dangote Group) and its subsidiaries have disclosed that they paid N402.3 billion in taxes to the government in 2024, making the company the highest taxpayer in Nigeria.
The company’s Chief Branding and Communication Officer, Anthony Chiejina, revealed this during a meeting with senior media executives in Lagos. The subsidiaries involved include Dangote Cement, NASCON, and Dangote Packaging Limited, among others.
In 2024, the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) recognized Dangote Group and its subsidiary, Bluestar Shipping, as the most tax-compliant organizations in Nigeria.
