
Edo state governor Monday Okpebholo has said that there will be no diversion of funds under his watch as governor.
The governor made the remarks while receiving a member of the state house of assembly who defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress from the opposition People’s Democratic Party.
While appreciating the new member, governor Okpebholo said the state allocation will be properly utilized since diversion of funds will be a thing of the past.
Responding on behalf of the defected Edo House of assembly member, the chairman of APC in Edo state Hon. Jarett Tenebe said the developmental strides of the governor is responsible for the defection of over six members of the PDP .
