A pan Igbo organization; Igbo Oriental Think Tank, has thrown its weight behind the developmental accomplishments of Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo; the Governor of Anambra State. In their release, signed by the President and Executive Secretary of the organization, respectively; Chief Law Emenike and Dr. Kenneth Anozie; the group contends that Anambra has never had it so good in terms of consolidated development since the creation of Anambra State in 1991.
“Anambra State is undergoing strong infrastructural development unprecedented in the annals of the state. The people of Anambra state have never had it so good. In all sectors of the economy, the strides are unprecedented. The recruitment of more than 9 thousand teachers, which has today effectively tackled the dearth of teachers in the state, is something commendable. Anambra Schools has again risen to number one in terms of performance in school certificate examination and JAMB success. Our hospitals today are well equipped, and with the recruitment of more than 3 thousand health personnel, Anambra health facilities have taken the lead in the whole country in terms of quality services. Today, in Anambra, more than six new general hospitals have been completed, staffed, and providing services to the communities across Anambra State. Pregnant women deliver in those hospitals free of charge. So are their antenatals. These are quite commendable”
“The massive youth programs for the state; one youth 2 skills is gradually turning Anambra State into a most productive state for the youths. Today the trained youths are sponsoring the training of more youths. The creation of special stalls for street traders at Agulu, Ekwulobia, Ogbaru and Awka, where women sell vegetables and fruits, is another commendable action by the Governor. Ochanja market and other markets in Anambra State are wearing new looks completely. More than 600 kilometers of new roads have been added to Anambra road network; hundreds of kilometers of dual carriage ways are being constructed with befitting flyovers as at the time of writing”; the Igbo Oriental Think says.
It will be recalled that additional flight facilities have been added to Chinua Achebe International Airport. The airport has been improved with the road accessing the airport given a face-lift.
The more than #600 billion budget of Gov Soludo is being put to good use for the benefit of Ndi Anambra. The Solution Fun City that is gradually being completed up is a playground for children and adults to have fun. Since the creation of Anambra State a new state of the art government House is being constructed. Governor Soludo has wiped shame out of Ndi Anambra face as the only state without a government House. Anambra has operated from prefabricated buildings left by Fourgello, that constructed Enugu – Onitsha expressway in the 80s. The Governor’s Lodge was the resident of the Judge of Awka Division in those days. Soludo has indeed brought Solution to ndi Anambra. The Governor’s agricultural drive is something quite commendable. Providing seedlings and nurseries for all kinds of farm products is something that will change the face of agriculture in Anambra State.

The massive improvement in internal revenue generation is, in many ways, a testament that the people of Anambra state are very satisfied with Gov. Soludo”s accomplishments; and many now voluntarily pay their taxes.
The Udo Ga Achi slogan, which enabled the State Assembly to pass the Agunaechamba Security law outfit , has become a celebration today in Anambra State. The Governors efforts in tackling the security crises facing the state, which is also facing the entire 36 states and Abuja, is commendable. More than 150 kidnappers have been arrested or killed by security agencies towards the fight by the government to eliminate insecurity across Anambra State. The federal government is hereby implored by Igbo Oriental Think Tank to look into the root cause of the massive insecurity across Nigeria and tackle it by taking some political steps like releasing Nnamdi Kanu and deporting thousand of insurgents who are not Nigerians so that Nigeria can be safe again.
The massive economic development of Anambra state, a deliberate effort by Governor Soludo, is yielding results. The massive shopping mall being constructed at the old Ikenga Hotel premises is taking shape. Anambra State has not in any regime witnessed the massive infrastructural development ever since creation. The Livable Prosperous era Gov. Soludo envisaged for Anambra is gradually being fulfilled.
After 8 years on the saddle, (because we know that Ndi Anambra will not look to another unknown tract on November 8 during the Governorship election); Anambra State will be inching towards the Dubai – Taiwan slogan Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has come to be identified with.
