Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has addressed her unexpected involvement in the ongoing controversy surrounding The Honest Bunch Podcast, its host Nedu, and social media personality VeryDarkMan. Taking to her platform, Jegede expressed her desire to be left out of the drama, stating that she has long moved on from her past unpleasant experience with the podcast.
Jegede recalled how her appearance on the show led to online trolling, including attacks on her young son’s social media page, forcing her to take it down. She also called out Nedu for allegedly fueling negativity against her while privately messaging her.
Despite the ordeal, Jegede revealed that she has forgiven both Nedu and the podcast, refusing to join in on the backlash he is currently facing. She emphasized the importance of integrity, stating that “we gain nothing, not even YouTube views, by bringing others down.”
