There has been an Israeli evacuation order for the eastern parts of Shujayea, Gaza City. This is a very densely populated area, especially after Palestinians went back to their houses during the ceasefire.
Some people have fled again to the western parts of Gaza City, but others have stayed in Shujayea. The Israeli forces and tanks have advanced to Al-Mantar hill, which overlooks all of Shujayea, and they have been attacking with artillery shelling and live ammunition.
But despite the fact that Israel tanks are stationed there and there has been continuous Israeli attacks, some Palestinians have chosen to stay in their houses in Shujayea because they simply do not have anywhere to go.
