Samuel Ajayi, the Supreme Head of the Cherubim and Seraphim Agbojesu Conference Worldwide, has called on Nigerians to stay committed to praying for the country, assuring them that the nation’s challenges can be resolved through faith and prayer.
Speaking at the church’s Annual General Convention in Oyo State, Ajayi stressed that Nigeria’s current socio-economic issues require not only physical strategies but also spiritual intervention.
“Beyond the physical approach needed to tackle the nation’s socio-economic challenges, we must not be tired of praying for its progress. We should also pray for the wisdom and fear of God upon those elected to lead us. They need our spiritual backing at this crucial time,” he said.
Ajayi drew parallels between Nigeria’s current challenges and the experiences of the Israelites in the Bible saying, “During their time, everything seemed impossible, but God intervened, and their situation changed for the better. God will do the same for Nigeria.”
