Nigerian content creator, Bobby, has taken to social media to express frustration over the worsening economic situation in the country, citing the unbearable cost of living and the recent hike in data prices by mobile network providers.
In a viral video, Bobby decried the financial struggles faced by many Nigerians, stating that even basic necessities such as food and transportation have become luxuries. According to him, the situation has been worsened by the increase in internet data costs, which is essential for many Nigerians who rely on digital platforms for work and communication.
“The hardship in Nigeria is too much! We can’t even afford food or transport fare anymore, and now, all the mobile network providers have increased their data prices,” he lamented.
Bobby further criticized the rapid depletion of data bundles, stating that gigabytes meant to last a week now barely last half a day.
“The worst part is that the gigabytes that are supposed to last for seven days finish under 12 hours! This is frustrating!” he cried out.
