Former Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege met with President Bola Tinubu over the weekend to talk about important issues impacting Delta State and national development.

A group of Delta APC leaders led by Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo (SAN) visited the President a few weeks prior to the high-level meeting.

Omo-Agege confirmed the encounter on Sunday by posting a picture of himself with President Tinubu on his verified social media accounts.

He called the talks fruitful and emphasized that they were centered on the recent events in Delta State and Nigeria’s advancements.

“His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and I had the honor of meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja last night.

“We had a productive discussion on growth, development, and progress for our nation, with a focus on Delta State, and I’m optimistic about the future,” Omo-Agege wrote.

The Delta APC 2023 governorship candidate has stayed politically active, embarking on a ‘thanking tour’ around all 25 local government areas of Delta State to acknowledge party members for their support during the last election.

His visit to President Tinubu further demonstrates his ongoing engagement in state and national politics as Delta APC camp stakeholders set themselves up for upcoming political events.
