The Osun State Chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has congratulated the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, on his resounding victory at the party’s primary election, which has earned him the ticket to contest for a second term in office during the forthcoming Anambra governorship election scheduled for November 8, 2025.
In a press release issued by the Chairman of the Osun State Chapter of APGA, Mr. Wole Adedoyin, the party described Governor Soludo’s emergence as a testimony to his outstanding performance and unwavering commitment to good governance and sustainable development in Anambra State since assuming office.
The Osun APGA commended Governor Soludo for his visionary leadership, innovative economic reforms, massive infrastructural projects, and investment in human capital development, all of which have repositioned Anambra as a model of progressive governance and prudent resource management in Nigeria.
According to the statement, “Governor Soludo’s administration has brought about a transformation agenda that has significantly improved the quality of life of Anambra citizens. His strategic interventions in education, healthcare, security, and road infrastructure are testimonies to what APGA stands for – people-centered leadership and good governance.”
The statement also noted that Governor Soludo’s acceptance and endorsement by party members and stakeholders across the 21 Local Government Areas of Anambra is an indication of the love and trust reposed in him by the people, who have seen and felt the positive impact of his leadership.
The Osun State Chapter also took time to commend the National Chairman of APGA, Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, for providing quality leadership and ensuring a transparent, peaceful, and credible primary election that reflected the will of the party members and delegates.
“Barr. Ezeokenwa has continued to demonstrate exemplary leadership, administrative discipline, and unwavering loyalty to the party’s philosophy. Under his watch, APGA has continued to grow in strength, unity, and popularity across states in Nigeria,” the statement added.
The statement further charged all members of APGA in Anambra and across the federation to rally round Governor Soludo to ensure a landslide victory at the November 8 polls, describing the second term bid as a continuation of the good work already started by the Governor.
APGA Osun reiterated its full support and solidarity with Governor Soludo, expressing confidence that his second term in office will usher in greater progress and prosperity for the people of Anambra State and further solidify the party’s legacy in the Southeast region.
The press release concluded with a call on all well-meaning Nigerians, especially Anambrarians, to support the reelection of Governor Soludo, whom it described as a tested, trusted, and transformational leader.
