
Nzam- Hon. Peter Udeogalanya Anekwe, Member of the House of Representatives representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, attended the Synod of Niger East Diocese of Anglican Communion in Nzam Archdeaconry . The event, themed “Establishing God’s Kingdom Addresses the role of the Church” based on Matthew 6:10, was a significant gathering of faith, reflection, and community spirit.

The spiritual guidance was enriched by the presence of the Preacher of the day, Rt. Rev. Dr Johnson Ekwe and the officiating Bishop, Rt Rev Obiora Uzochukwu. The Synod also saw the attendance of some prominent Omanbala Leaders along with other prominent spiritual leaders and individuals who contributed to the event’s success.

Hon. Peter Udeogalanya Anaekwe (Macpee) extended his heartfelt thanks to the good people of the Nzam and the diocese for their exceptional to him over the years, their hospitality and the warmth they extended to all guests. The community’s efforts in making the Synod a memorable event were deeply appreciated.

The Synod, focusing on the critical theme from the gospel of Matthew, provided a profound platform for addressing the spiritual and communal conditions of the Church and Nigeria . It called for introspection and a renewed commitment to the values and mission of the Church.
