At her Sallah rally in Kogi State, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan made serious allegations against Senate President Godswill Akpabio and former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, claiming they conspired to recall and possibly ass*ssinate her.
Speaking at the event, she alleged that Akpabio instructed Bello to initiate her recall and even offered to fund the process. She further claimed that Akpabio advised Bello to ensure any att*ck on her took place in Kogi rather than Abuja to make it appear as a local incident.
Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan also linked her removal from the Senate Committee on Local Content to her opposition to a gas project transfer from the Niger Delta to the North, alleging that Akpabio orchestrated her removal due to her stance on the issue.
Despite a government-imposed curfew and a police ban on public gatherings, she arrived at the rally venue via helicopter, insisting that she was only in Kogi to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr with her constituents.
