Senator Dr. Tony Nwoye has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of Hon. Justice Azuka, the member representing Onitsha North Constituency 1 in the Anambra State House of Assembly.
In a heartfelt condolence message, Senator Nwoye described Hon. Azuka as a humble and just leader, dedicated to fairness and the welfare of his people. His death, after being kidnapped on December 24, 2024, and later found murdered near the 2nd Niger Bridge, has sent shockwaves across Anambra State.
“The prevailing insecurity in Anambra has cost us one life too many. We must unite as a people to put an end to this menace,” Senator Nwoye stated.
He extended condolences to Hon. Azuka’s family, the Obi of Onitsha, HRH Igwe Dr. Alfred Achebe, and the people of Onitsha North 1 Constituency, urging collective action against insecurity.
