As Muslims across the world celebrate Eid Al-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, former Governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has extended his warm felicitations to the Muslim community, urging peace, unity, and tolerance among Nigerians.

In his goodwill message, Ugwuanyi emphasized the significance of Eid Al-Fitr as a period of thanksgiving, reflection, and compassion. He called on Nigerians, regardless of religious or ethnic backgrounds, to embrace the values of love, unity, and peaceful coexistence, which are fundamental to nation-building.

“The celebration of Eid Al-Fitr is not just about breaking the fast but also about reaffirming our commitment to peace, compassion, and unity,” Ugwuanyi stated. “I urge all Nigerians to use this opportunity to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and work towards a more harmonious society.”

The former governor acknowledged the contributions of the Muslim community to national development and commended them for their prayers and sacrifices during Ramadan. He also called on leaders at all levels to promote policies that foster peaceful coexistence and social cohesion.

Ugwuanyi further encouraged Nigerians to continue praying for the peace, stability, and progress of the nation, stressing that unity remains the key to overcoming the country’s challenges.
