
The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has berated the opposition figures planning a coalition to unseat President Bola Tinubu in 2027, asserting that their efforts would end in failure.
Contrary to doomsayers, Umahi said the recent Fitch ratings were evidence that the reforms of Tinubu’s administration are yielding positive results.
Umahi disclosed this at the sidelines of the flag-off of the 282km reconstruction of the Abuja-Kano road, awarded at a total cost of N777bn, with a 14-month completion timeline.
Declaring that the worst is over, the Minister said the opposition only engaged in cheap talk devoid of advancing alternate options stressing that opposition should always be about Constrictive criticism and not destructive one.
On the prevailing peace and Security in Kaduna State, the Minister lauded the National Security Adviser to the President, Nuhu Ribadu and the Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani for their unwavering support and efforts in this regard.
He charged all Stakeholders to continue to work on this regard for peace, Unity and safety of lives in the State
