The Director General of the Peace and Good Governance Group (P3G) and pioneer youth POCACOV Ambassador, Monday Diamond Ani (Odozibodo), recently paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Commissioner of Police in Enugu State, CP Mamman Bitrus Giwa.
During the visit, both parties engaged in a robust discussion focused on fostering collaborative efforts aimed at building a crime-free society. The meeting emphasized the need for strategic partnerships between civil society and law enforcement to promote peace, security, and good governance across communities.
Mr. Ani, who was also the convener of the Youth Security Summit 2023—organized in partnership with the Nigeria Police Force—expressed optimism about a strengthened synergy between P3G and the police. He highlighted that the collaboration would help entrench community-based policing rooted in ethical values and spotless professionalism.
